FromSoftware has released a new update for Elden Ring, revising the scaling provided by the Scadutree Blessings introduced in Shadow of the Erdtree. The attack and damage negation is increased for the first half of the maximum amount of enhancements.
It means more significant gains than before with the early Blessing levels. However, the increase offered by the second half of the Blessing levels is now “more gradual,” while the bonus from the final level is “slightly increased.”
FromSoftware also confirmed a bug that caused raytracing settings to automatically become enabled if players used save data from previous versions, causing frame rate issues. Considering how many players would have prepared for the expansion before launch, it would explain the reported performance issues on PC. To fix this, go to the Graphics Settings and turn Raytracing Quality off.
Stay tuned for more details on subsequent updates and changes. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review, where we awarded it a 10 out of 10.
