Fallout 4 DLC May Be Set Under Water

The DLC could take advantage of the massive bodies of water that line the world.

One of the things that has made Fallout 4 such a great game to many is just how realistic the world really feels. While there isn’t much to do in the massive bodies of water in the game, they are still there and can be fully explored should a gamer choose to do so. While there isn’t much to do in the base game, there are some rumors flying around that the game might be getting some DLC that focuses on underwater adventures.

According to Crave Online, the first clue that underwater DLC might be coming down the pike is that a modder has found a harpoon gun hidden within the game’s code. The other clues that Crave has put together appear to be speculative based on some images that were released during the initial presentation at E3. The game had a number of pictures showing action underwater that haven’t been seen in the main game.

Pictures of an octopus, as well as some first person perspectives of an underwater scene that haven’t shown up yet have people talking about what the first piece of DLC might offer. Bethesda has said there will be indeed be DLC coming eventually but the firm hasn’t said what it will entail. It’s possible the pictures are teasing what we might see next, or they might be part of a story that has since been cut. We’ll just have to wait and see until Fallout 4 DLC’s launch.
