While the PC version of Fallout 4 has already received patch 1.3, it appears the console versions of the game might be waiting a bit longer to get their update. Players expected the patch to be coming this week, considering it’s already out for the PC, but Bethesda has said it might not be out until early next week. The company’s global community lead was the one who shed light on the fact that there was apparently a bit of a delay.
“We should have more info on the 1.3 release soon. Could push to early next week, but we’re working through it now,” the lead said. Of course, the comment means the patch could be coming sooner rather than later if everything goes ok. It should be pointed out that because this game is so massive, Bethesda has been releasing a number of updates since the game was launched.
At the same time, while there has been a lot of excitement about Fallout 4 since it launched, there have also been enough problems that one has to wonder whether Bethesda might have been better served to push the game’s launch back. There was lots of talk about how soon after announcing the game was brought to market. It’s out now, for better or worse and Bethesda is at least seemingly working on making the game run as well as possible.
