Fallout 4 is almost here (we’re less than a month away now), and ahead of the launch of the highly anticipated game, Bethesda has taken to answering some of the more persistent question players may have about it.
For instance, they have confirmed that the game will have Steam Achievements support, as well as support for Gamepads for the PC version- out of the box, it will ship with support for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers, though other controllers are also obviously supported.
Bethesda also confirmed the phone models that will slot into the Pip-Boy. “The Pip-Boy included will have foam inserts that fit iPhone 6/6s, iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S4, and Samsung Galaxy S3. In addition, using the customizable foam insert you should be able to fit most other popular smartphone devices. As we wanted to stay faithful to the dimensions of the in-game model, any smartphones larger than the models listed will not fit inside the wearable device, but can still use the Pip-Boy App,” they said.
That app will go live on November 10, for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices, and will be compatible with the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game.
Bethesda also currently refused to detail its plans for the future mod support or post launch content for the game, though they did ask fans to stay tuned.
