Specific details are unknown, so it remains to be seen what exactly this collaboration will entail. Could the football star be set to appear as a playable character in the fighting title? Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, which is owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Meanwhile, in 2020, SNK was acquired by MiSK Foundation, a non-profit organization owned by the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammad bin Salman. The two unlikely partners could have connected through that avenue, though that is, of course, speculation.
