SNK unleashed a barrage of information on Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves at Gamescom, including a release date, details on the Special Edition, and the first Season Pass. To top it all off, it released another character trailer, revealing the addition of Mai Shiranui. Check it out below.

Sporting a new biker-style outfit (though her classic Gi is also available), Mai is a regular in The King of Fighters and mainline Fatal Fury titles. Utilizing the Shiranui-ryuu fighting style, she mixes fast-paced attacks with ninjutsu, like shadow clones, to throw off her opponents. Mai is also exceptionally skilled at pyrokinesis, whether channeling fire into explosions or enhancing her attacks.

Thus far, 11 characters have been revealed from the launch roster, with another six to be confirmed. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launches on April 24th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Pre-orders receive a Fatal Fury 2 outfit for Terry Bogard and early access to the title starting on April 21st.
