Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, SNK’s next high-profile fighting game, finally has a release date following Gamescom Opening Night Live. Alongside the new story mode, Episodes of South Town, and features like Color Edit and the Jukebox, the developer confirmed the title would launch as a Special Edition for $59.99.

It includes the base game with 17 playable characters and Season Pass 1, the latter adding five more characters as DLC. The first two arrive in Summer 2025, followed by the third character in Fall, the fourth in Winter, and the fifth DLC fighter in early 2026. As noted on Steam, only the Special Edition will be available at launch, with no plans to sell the base game and Season Pass 1 separately.

Pre-order bonuses include three days of early access, allowing players to start on April 21st, 2025. They’ll also receive a DLC costume based on Terry Bogard’s classic outfit from Fatal Fury 2. The latter can be acquired for free if pre-ordering by April 23rd, though SNK may sell it as DLC later.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launches on April 24th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
