FIFA 13 Goes Real; World Player Form To Be Reflected In Game

This year’s FIFA will be the best one yet as there’s a new feature where real-world drama such as injuries, suspensions, team form, and media gossip will be reflected in-game through commentary and gameplay.

It’s called Football Club Match Day where you get to see real-world news and events shown in-game.

I suspect this is to make the game more immersive, and you know what? It should be quite effective.

“This is a huge technological innovation that will make every match feel like a seamless extension of the headlines ripped from the football pages around the world,” said David Rutter, Executive Producer of FIFA 13.

“There is nothing bigger in the world of sports than match day. It brings together the emotions, passion and drama of the world’s sport for players, pundits, managers and fans alike. We are going to capture that experience and bring it to life in-game.”

This feature won’t be on the Nintendo Wii U and will be only found in PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.

The game comes out this September for a bunch of platforms. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
