FIFA 22 Seemingly Confirms Custom Clubs In Career Mode

FIFA 22 has seemingly confirmed the existence of custom clubs within the game's career mode, according to a recent press release.

In a press release by EA Sports as reported by Push Square, the developer has seemingly confirmed the existence of custom clubs in the game’s career mode. The press release reportedly teases a new “Create a Club experience”, which seems to suggest that players would finally be able to create custom clubs for the game’s career mode.

Of course, given the vague language at play, it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt. EA Sports will share more information leading up to the game’s release later this October. FIFA 22 was very recently revealed, and has already generated a bunch of controversy due to a number of predatory practices.

In addition to retailing essentially the same game for a premium price tag of $70 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, FIFA 22 has also locked next-gen upgrade options behind the game’s ultimate edition, which will cost an exorbitant $100. The Nintendo Switch will unsurprisingly receive a legacy release this year as well.
