Final Fantasy 15: Online Features, PS4/Xbox One Optimization, Cutscenes And More Revealed

More staff are expected to come on board for FFXV and other projects.

As I reported on recently, Square Enix is hiring staff for possibly a PC spin off for Final Fantasy 15, Having previously said that they’re looking for an “online game planner”, amongst other things, the company is now searching for an applicant that will be able to work on “game contents using the Network,” once again pointing to online functionality for  possibly Final Fantasy XV.

Not only that, they’re looking for staff candidates that will working on lighting design for FFXV and have “experience in high-end CG movies”. They’re also on the hunt for a system programmer to help with the console optimization end of things, specifically saying the want some to help optimize”the game via multi-threading, file I/O, memory and streamlining.” The intention clearly being to squeeze the PS4 and Xbox One for everything their currently worth.

Whilst some gamers have expressed concern over the matter, what with development still being ongoing at a level that requires hiring staff, it’s not uncommon for staff to come on last minute (so to speak) to help polish the final build of game. If anything, take this news as quality assurance.
