For Honor has proven itself to be a very popular game since its launch, having recent crossed 15 million playerbase, which is, in large part, thanks to content updates by Ubisoft, such as the recently released Marching Fire. It seems like the publisher has got something else planned for the title as well, and though it doesn’t look like it’ll be as major as a new expansion or content update, it still promises to be quite interesting.
For Honor’s official Twitter account recently put up an update, showing a short clip featuring the Assassin’s Creed emblem, with the video being accompanied with the message “Nothing is true, everything is permitted.” That, of course, is the motto of the eponymous Assassins Brotherhood – the assassins’ creed, if you will – in Ubisoft’s action adventure franchise. No other information is revealed, though the clip does state that more details will be announced in a livestream on December 20 (which is today), at 12PM EST, which is merely hours from now.
The extent of what this crossover might entail is a huge question mark- it could be something as major as Assassin’s Creed-themed weapons or characters in For Honor, or something as minor as Assassin’s Creed-themed cosmetic items. We’ll find out soon enough either way.
