Former Rocksteady Founders Form Hundred Star Games

The triple-A studio has 100 "industry veterans and emerging talents", including high-level Rocksteady developers based on reports.

Following their departure from Rocksteady Studios in 2022 after over 18 years, founders Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker have formed new triple-A studio called Hundred Star Games. Its official website notes it to be based in London and consists of 100 people.

The company’s profile on Endole indicates Hill and Walker are directors. Great Place to Work also describes it as “a small team of only 100 industry veterans and emerging talents, who are committed to crafting cutting-edge gaming experiences that inspire and captivate players worldwide.”

The studio has open positions, and based on LinkedIn profiles viewed by Polygon, several high-level developers from Rocksteady have left to join. Hundred Star Games didn’t respond to the publication’s requests for comment.

Hill’s last title with Rocksteady is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, with Axel Rydby since taking over directorial duties. The looter shooter is out on February 2nd for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and has received mixed responses from fans for its gameplay. It will have an end-game showcase on January 19th and goes live early on January 31st for Deluxe Edition owners.
