The Game Bakers’ acclaimed hack and slash/bullet hill title Furi is now available for PlayStation 5. Along with this, however, it also released brand new DLC with Onnamusha. The DLC costs $6.99 and arrives alongside a free patch for all platforms which adds the One More Fight DLC and other previous updates.
In terms of combat, the Onnamusha Rider controls pretty differently. She can adopt the Spark stance for less damage while also gaining the ability to double dash, heal on parry and fill the Star gauge via dodging, parrying and successful hits. Alternatively, the Storm stance provides access to a powerful but slow (and vulnerable) jump roll while also filling the Star gauge slowly.
Upon building up the gauge, she can unleash the Star, a very powerful and quick attack. It’s only available for a limited time though so use it when an opponent is open. The Onnamusha Rider is playable in Story, Practice and Speedrun modes, adding a whole new dimension to the base game.
Along with PS5, Furi is also available for PS4, PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, the DLC won’t be coming to Xbox any time soon. Head here to find out why.
