Furi - Onnamusha

Despite launching about six years ago, The Game Bakers’ Furi is coming to PS5 and also receiving a new update on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC on May 17th. PS4 players can upgrade to the PS5 version for free while a new paid DLC, Onnamusha, will release on the same day. Check out the trailer below to see it in action.

Costing $6.99, the DLC adds a new character – the Onnamusha Rider – who can fight in two stances (along with harnessing the Star’s power). The first is quicker but the second can dish out more damage at a slower pace. Along with the Story mode, the Onnamusha Rider can be played in Speedrun and Practice modes.

The free update will essentially add the One More Fight DLC and other improvements like Furier Speedrun, alternate controls, accessibility options and Invincible Mode to all platforms for free. As for whether the new paid DLC or free update would be released for Xbox One, the developer told Gematsu that there are no plans at present.
