Gears 5 is almost here, and it’s going to be something that many are going to enjoy on many levels. The game’s campaign will, of course, be a big selling point, but one thing that’ll keep us coming back is that classic Gears of War multiplayer- and The Coalition plan to support that for a good while.
The developers have released a guide for Operations, which is their fancy name for the post-launch support the game’s multiplayer will see. Operations will be the umbrella name that will include new modes, features, maps, characters, and fresh challenges refreshed. Operations will last for three months, and will be free to all users. But those three months won’t be the end, as there are plans for Operations 2 at a later date. You can see a full text and video breakdown below, or through here.

Complete daily objectives and seasonal medals to earn Stars that help you rank up in Tour of Duty. Every level you gain, or medal group you complete, will come with a new piece of exclusive customization – like character skins, weapon skins, executions, blood sprays, banners, expressions, marks and more.
The more you play, the faster you rank up in the Tour of Duty and unlock new content. Select rewards are only available during each Operation – so complete the objectives and get this exclusive content before the Operation ends!
