The Coalition are about to launch Gears of War 4 come October, and ahead of that launch, we are now rapidly getting to see more and more of the game. Take this new video, which you can see for yourself below, for instance- it shows us a good amount of the game’s campaign, and what we can expect from it.
Now, let me be clear upfront: this post and the video below both have spoilers. If you would rather not be spoiled on this game at all, best to hit that Back button on your browser. With that out of the way, let’s get right down to it.
For starters, the campaign looks far more impressive and focused than any previous campaign in the series since the original Gears of War– it almost seems to be channeling that game, or even Naughty Dog’s Uncharted franchise. That apart, there is also a neat surprise here for long time series fans, as it appears as though Marcus Fenix ends up joining your party. Marcus Fenix!
Gears of War 4 is due out on October 13 on the Xbox One and PCs running Windows 10.
