Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instinct PC Releases Won’t Be Too Far Into 2016, Promises Phil Spencer

Busy time for fans of Microsoft games on PC in early 2016.

Remember when Microsoft promised that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Killer Instinct would both be coming to PC? Well, that’s still happening. They haven’t forgotten about it. In fact, it’ll be happening some time relatively soon in 2016, promises head of Xbox Phil Spencer.

Speaking on Twitter and responding to a fan’s question, Spencer confirmed that both those games will be coming to Windows 10 PCs “not too far into 2016.” Alongside Fable Legends, which is promised to get a beta in early 2016 as well, it looks like Microsoft will actually be following up on its promises of supporting PC gaming over the next few months.

Of course, now to see whether or not they release some of their more major games, like Gears of War 4, on PC. They already have some of their biggest 2016 titles, like Sea of Thieves and Halo Wars 2, announced for Windows 10, so I’m going to continue giving them the benefit of the doubt here.
