A new glitch has been unearthed in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, that may prove to be problematic for quite a few players of the game- it seems to block gun skins from showing up in the game. While you can still select and load them in the pre-match selection screen, once the actual game starts, only the stock gun will show up.
This wouldn’t be an issue, but a lot of the gun skins were made available as pre-order bonuses; they can also be bought individually by players. This means that a lot of players are not getting to use something that they rightfully paid for.
Players are reporting that the glitch seems to go away with an uninstall and reinstall of the game, though of course, your own mileage may vary on this.
For now, we haven’t heard anything official from The Coalition or from Microsoft, though if they changes, we’ll of course keep you in the loop. Stay tuned.
