The open world samurai epic enjoys Sony's fourth-best launch on Steam with over 57,000 concurrent players upon release.

2024 continues to be a successful year for Sony where its PC releases are concerned. Ghost of Tsushima got its long-awaited port on the platform yesterday, and instantly upon release, it seems to have attracted players in impressive numbers.

Currently, Ghost of Tsushima is on top of Steam’s charts for bestselling games, above the likes of Baldur’s Gate 3, Hades 2, and Helldivers 2. On top of that, as per SteamDB, the game also saw a peak of 57,934 concurrent players on Steam on the day of its release.

That makes it the fourth-best launch to date for a Sony game on the platform, behind Helldivers 2, God of War, and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and above the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West, and The Last of Us Part 1. Check out the table below for more details.
