Ghost Recon Breakpoint Receives New Trailers; Will Be Bringing Back AI Teammates In Solo Play

Ubisoft also announced that a beta for the game will go live on September 5.

Ubisoft showed off a new trailer for Ghost Recon Breakpoint at their E3 2019 show, showcasing Cole D. Walker, former Ghost and current leader of the Wolves, and played by Jon Bernthal. The trailer showed Walker speaking with his soldiers, delivering a speech backed by Bernthal’s impressive performance before sending them out into battle.

That was followed by by Bernthal himself (and his dog) walking on to the stage to speak of Breakpoint and what it will have in store for players later this year (while his dog slept on the stage). Another new trailer followed, focusing on the guerrilla warfare aspects that look like they’re going to be front and centre in the shooter. You can take a look at both the trailers below.

Of course, then came the biggest announcement, with Ubisoft announcing that Ghost Recon Breakpoint will indeed be allowing solo players to play with AI teammates. This is following an earlier announcement that had said that solo players would only be playing with drone, and teammates would only be available in co-op play. After listening to fan feedback, Ubisoft decided to reverse their decision.

Additionally, a beta for the game will also be going live on September 5th, and registrations for it are open now.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches on October 4 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
