God of War Ragnarok Rated in South Korea

Originally slated to release last year, the PS4 and PS5 title is seemingly one step closer to receiving an official release date soon.

SIE Santa Monica’s highly anticipated action-adventure God of War Ragnarok has been rated by South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC). The application date was on May 18th with the deliberation date being today. This means the game is one step closer to receiving an official release date.

Sony hasn’t confirmed exactly when the sequel will release, aside from SIE president and CEO Jim Ryan stating in July 2021 that it should release “in the next year or so.” To its credit, the development team has reiterated multiple times that it will be arriving this year (with Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier also denying any possibility of delay). Judging by how games release in roughly 2-3 months after being rated in South Korea, expect more information soon.

God of War Ragnarok is in development for PS4 and PS5. Its accessibility features were recently outlined and include features like auto sprint, navigation assist and much more. Head here for more details and stay tuned for further updates.
