Gran Turismo 7 launched well and enjoyed instant success out the gate with strong reviews and stronger sales, but general reception for the game has definitely cooled in the time since them (to say the very least) thanks to its iffy monetization practices. Even so, developer Polyphony Digital plans on continuing to add to and expand upon the game in the months and years to come, and will be doing a little bit more of that soon.
Polyphony Digital boss and Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi recently took to Twitter to tease upcoming content for Gran Turismo 7. Yamauchi has been tweeting out images showing silhouettes of vehicles to tease upcoming updates for years now, going back to Gran Turismo Sport, and he’s done so again, teasing an upcoming update that’ll add three new cars to Gran Turismo 7.
An update less than month ago added three cars and plenty else, so it’s likely that the upcoming update will be comparable. According to Yamauchi’s tweet, it’s arriving soon, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out what it brings to the table.
Gran Turismo 7 is available on PS5 and PS4.
