Granblue Fantasy: Relink Hits Nearly 115,000 Concurrent Users Peak on Steam

That's the third-highest concurrent user peak for a Japanese-developed RPG to date, surpassing Final Fantasy 14 and Wo Long: Final Dynasty.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink launched last week, and it’s got off to an impressive start. At launch, the game quickly hit peak of nearly 74,000 concurrent players on Steam, and that number has continued to grow over the course of the following days.

As per SteamDB, on Sunday, the game hit peak of almost 115,000 concurrent players (114,054, to be precise), while at the time of writing, it’s being played by nearly 73,000 players. In fact, Cygames’ action RPG has now seen the third-highest concurrent users peak on Steam for a Japanese-developed RPG to date, having overtaken Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and, perhaps more notably, Final Fantasy 14. It currently sits behind Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter World.

In our review of Ganblue Fantasy: Relink, we gave it a score of 7/10, saying, “Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s plot falters in several ways despite some impressive combat, bosses and gorgeous visuals. Nevertheless, it’s a solid holdover for action RPG fans who don’t mind grinding.” Read the full review through here.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is available on PC, PS5, and PS4. Head on over here for details on what its post-launch roadmap entails.
