Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Relink is now playable on PS4, PS5 and PC. First announced in 2016 as Project Re: Link, the action RPG based on the successful free-to-play RPG sees Gran/Djeeta, Lyria and the Grandcypher crew venturing to new lands.
They’re involved in adventures featuring the Primal Beasts, newcomer Rolan and the Pilgrims of Avia, led by Lilith. Combat is real-time, with 19 playable characters, each having a unique play style. As players progress through the story, they’ll recruit new crewmates and take advantage of Skybound Arts and Link Attacks to take down enemies.
Aside from the main story, there’s Quest Mode with over 100 Quests to complete and co-op support for up to four players. Check out our review of the PS5 version here (a demo is also currently available). It will receive more content, including a boss fight against Lucilius in March, two new characters in April and more. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
