Famitsu have published their newest weekly charts for software and hardware sales in Japan, and Arc System Works’ newest release, Granblue Fantasy: Versus has topped the software side of things, selling over 86,000 units. Arc System Works have already confirmed that counting digital sales, the fighting title’s total shipments stand at over 150,000.
Meanwhile, Ring Fit Adventure, which topped charts last week, has been pushed down to the second spot, selling over 23,000 units, while Pokemon Sword and Shield trail in third place, with a gap of less than 40 copies. Yakuza: Like a Dragon follows in fourth place. Meanwhile, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot falls all the way from No. 4 to No. 8.
On the hardware side of things, the Switch one again saw a surge in sales, selling over 100,000 units as opposed to last week’s 75,000. With the coronavirus outbreak in China, Nintendo is expecting production and supply shortages for the Switch in the coming weeks, so this might very well be the last week it enjoys such figures for a while- it’s likely that will be reflected in its sales going forward going forward.
You can check out the full software and hardware charts for the week ending February 9 below.
