Spiders Games and Focus Home Interactive will bring us GreedFall, which may sound like the most generic name for a video game ever, but actually is the title of a surprisingly intriguing looking and sounding role playing game set in a world based on the 17th century, embedded with magical and supernatural elements through and through.
A new trailer for the game, released at E3, shows us more of what the game’s story is about- the setup involves a lot of fantasy tropes, including a land assuaged by a mysterious and unknowable force, and a lost treasure that everyone in the world seems to be after. Tropey though it may sound, it seems like GreedFall actually tackles with the well trodden story material in a fun manner.
You can check out the trailer for yourself below. Sharing the new trailer, Focus Home Interactive also confirmed that the game, which was due out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this year, has now been delayed. It will be launching some time in 2019 instead now.
