A new patch will be releasing soon for Killzone: Shadow Fall, Guerrilla Games has announced, and it will be addressing an issue with the game that has been bothering plenty of people.
Shadow Fall runs on 30 frames per second when in single player mode but often makes the jump to 35 FPS, which results in the frame rate seeming inconsistent. Obviously, fans have been complaining. So, with the new patch, the game will constantly run at 30 frames per second (60 FPS in multiplayer as always).
“To guarantee a steadier framerate in the campaign mode, players can now lock their game to 30fps via the options menu,” Guerrilla wrote on Killzone.com.
Other things the patch introduces are some new clan features which would allow you to invite members to a clan and such, several new Warzone options, and a much needed improvement in the single player campaign’s checkpoint system, which means that the game will now autosave everytime you revive.
Stay tuned for more updates.
