Hades Announced for iOS, Coming to Netflix Games in 2024

The mobile port will run on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later and support cloud saves, Achievements and Bluetooth controllers.

Supergiant Games’ critically acclaimed rogue-lite dungeon crawler Hades is coming to iOS in 2024. It will be available exclusively via Netflix Games and only requires a standard subscription to the video streaming service.

Developed in close collaboration with Secret6, the mobile version should run well on an iPhone or iPad with iOS 16 or later, with full requirements coming later. Along with customizable touch controls, you can also connect a Bluetooth controller to play. Cloud saves and Achievements are supported, though there’s no support for cross-saves with other platforms.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any plans to bring Hades to Android anytime soon. While the announcement may seem out of left field, Supergiant’s previous games, like Bastion and Transistor, have been released for mobiles. Stay tuned for more details on Hades in the coming months and check out our review of the Nintendo Switch version.

As for Hades 2, it’s entering early access in Q2 2024 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Head here for more details.
