Halo 5 is one of the last bastions of exclusivity on the Xbox One at this point- with basically all upcoming Xbox One games also announced for PCs running Windows 10, and existing exclusives being brought over to the platform one by one, it makes sense that the system’s most high profile game still an exclusive will be the one that everyone focuses on now.
It’s not like there haven’t been hints pointing to a PC release of the game either- 343 Industries’ Frank O’ Connor discussed the possibility of a PC version of Halo 5 last year, and earlier this year, Halo 5′s Forge Mode was released for PCs. So the idea isn’t without merit. It’s not inadmissible. Keep that in mind for this rumor.
NeoGAF’s Enter the Dragon has now claimed that he has multiple sources indicating that Halo 5 will be coming to the PC too. He is the person who also made the claim that Sunset Overdrive, another Xbox One game that is still an exclusive, will be coming to PC recently- so if he is right about one of these, chances are that he is also right about the other. Now the question is, is he right about any of these at all?
Hopefully, we should be finding soon, as E3 begins this Sunday, with Microsoft’s show being on Monday.
