Halo 5 Guardians “Could Appear” on PC, “Absolutely Within Bounds of Reason” – Frank O’Connor

Bringing Halo 5 to PC wouldn't be the "hardest thing in the world".

Halo 5: Guardians is on its way to the Xbox One but franchise development director Frank O’Connor believes it could very well head to PC. This is according to a live-streamed session on Twitch with GamesRadar wherein O’Connor talked about Microsoft and its Windows 10 gaming initiative. O’Connor starts talking about Halo 5 on PC around the 1:13 mark.

“There is plenty of chance that Halo 5 could appear on the PC. Nothing to announce at this point but it’s absolutely within the bounds of reason.

“We developed the game on an Intel platform. It wouldn’t be the hardest thing in the world to move it to PC and take advantage of PC stuff. But nothing to announce today on this chat.”

Microsoft has been pushing for plenty of cross compatibility between Xbox One and Windows 10, hinting that some big name exclusives could arrive on the PC as a result. We already know that Fable Legends will be available on both platforms and support cross-platform play. Would you like to see the Halo franchise finally make its way back to PC?
