Well, people, we’ve finally got a release date for Halo: Campaign Evolved, with a new trailer giving us a look at the new Covenant faction, and a glimpse of Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson taking them head-on.
It’s quite an interesting one, with the two veteran soldiers storming a Covenant stronghold and setting off a chain of events that’s signature Halo, and we’re particularly interested in the new weapon that makes its targets go berserk and turn on their allies in the blink of an eye. It’s probably going to play a role in the new missions that we know are coming, while the rest of Campaign Evolved might look familiar, but it’s been refreshed with some excellent visuals that bring its worlds to life.
We wish there was confirmation of the rumors surrounding new skins for Master Chief, but we were glad to see the prequel missions show us what those Brutes can do. And that’s not counting the possibility of getting them to fight on our side.
This one’s coming to the XBOX Series X|S, PS5, and PC on July 28, 2026. You could also pick up the Premium or Collector’s Editions for 5 days of Early Access if you just can’t wait.
