Dogs are the new kings of the industry. In February, they’ll be dominating our collective mindshare with The Last of Us Part 2, but there’s another big game coming out next year that’s using a dog for something a bit more different. Halo Infinite developers 343 Industries recently took to Instagram to share just what that will be.
The developers recently brought a little pug named Gyoza into their recording studio to record a bunch of sounds and noises for them, from slurping and heavy breathing to grunts and burps, and everything else in between. As adorable as that pug looks, it’s a safe bet that 343 will be using Gyoza’s noises to create sound effects for something far more sinister in the game itself- probably one of the alien species will be fighting against in the shooter. Either way, even if you’re not interested in the game, the video is worth watching, because it’s got a pug in it.
Halo Infinite will be out in Holiday 2020 for the Xbox One, Xbox Scarlett, and PC. Next year, it’ll also be receiving some betas, which will go live on Xbox One first.
