Halo Reach’s Next PC Flight Is All About Firefight Mode

Currently scheduled for later this month.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is due out on PC some time later this year, and its fragmented release will kick off with the as of yet undated release of Halo Reach (which will also be joining the collection on Xbox One). Before that full release arrives though, 343 Industries have said they’ll be holding a bunch of betas to make sure the game works properly on PC.

The first of these betas – or flights, as the developers call them – has already happened, and in new update posted by the development team on Halo Waypoint forums, they briefly spoke about the next beta. As per the developers, the next flight will focus solely on the wave-based co-op mode Firefight. They are also currently targeting a release for later this month for the second beta, though they say their plans could possibly shift. Meanwhile, the update also spoke about the results of the first (recently finished) flight, which the developers called a success.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC is supposed to launch in its entirety by the end of the year, with fragmented releases for each game included, but exact release dates haven’t yet been provided. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
