The Game Bakers, known for their trippy hack and slash title Furi, have announced their newest game, Haven. Instead of a string of boss battles, Haven is an adventure RPG that will be coming to consoles and PC in 2020. It centres on a couple who have rebelled and escaped to a lost planet to be together.
Playable solo or in co-op with a “special someone”, Haven’s main objective is to “stay together”. Not much else is known about the title aside from the visually resplendent environments. Some preliminary system requirements can be seen on the Steam page though. Check them out below.
If you haven’t played Furi, it’s currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It received critical acclaim for its soundtrack, with artists like Carpenter Brut, Danger and The Toxic Avenger involved. Then there are the boss fights, which are the key encounters in the game, and offer mix of bullet hell projectile-dodging and twitch-based combat. Check it out on Steam for $19.99.
