Furi had first released on the PC back in 2016 and gained attention for its stylized artwork which blended perfectly with its fast-paced action centered around epic boss fights. It was announced some time ago that the game would be making its way onto the Nintendo Switch, and now it has been confirmed that the release date for the game’s Switch release is January 8.

The game will cost $19.99 for the Switch, and will include the One More Fight DLC as well. Additionally, the very challenging difficulty mode called Furier will also be available in this version of the game. Along with this, all previous updates and bug fixes will also be included with the release. There’s certainly a lot to like about this unique hack-and-slash game with great music and stellar character designs by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki.

You can learn more about the game by reading this interview with the game’s developers, which may help you decide if you want to pick it up for the Switch.
