Ninja Theory has released new patch for the PC version of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. It brings the glorious magic of high dynamic range lighting (or HDR) to Nvidia and AMD graphics cards. The suffering of Senua (which can you read more about in GamingBolt’s official review) has never been more detailed.
Along with HDR support, the patch brings a number of other fixes and improvements. A flickering issue that occurred in the tower cinematic and a texture streaming issue for Surtr have both been fixed. It’s also easier to open the Surtr gates, and along with general optimizations, the patch also brings “memory improvements”.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is available for PS4 and Xbox One as well, with the latter version releasing this year itself. Microsoft would later acquire Ninja Theory, along with other studios like Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment. What Ninja Theory is working on next remains to be seen, but it’s good to see Hellblade receive continued support.
