Along with a new trailer and crossplay announcement, Arrowhead Game Studios revealed the PC requirements for Helldivers 2. It requires 100 GB of installation space, a massive step up from the 7 GB of the first game. On the bright side, it can run on a 7200 RPM hard disk drive on the lowest settings.
The recommended requirements, delivering 1080p/60 FPS at Medium settings, include an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB DDR4 RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. To play at 1440p/60 FPS and High settings, you need a Core i5-12600K or Ryzen 7 5800X3D, GeForce RTX 3070 or Radeon RX 6800 and 16 GB DDR4 RAM.
Finally, for 4K/60 FPS at Very High settings, a Core i5-12600K or Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 16 GB DDR4 RAM and GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or Radeon RX 7900 XTX are required. Minimum requirements aside, every other configuration needs a solid state drive.
Helldivers 2 launches on February 8th for PC and PS5, despite Sony indicating delay to February 28th in its CES 2024 presser.
