Helldivers 2 has been successful enough for Arrowhead Game Studios that the developer is seemingly looking to expand its development team. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Arrowhead CEO and Helldivers 2 creative director Johan Pilestedt has said that the studio is going to start looking for more developers.
“With the success of Helldivers 2, we are going to start looking for more amazing developers that can help us accelerate and beef up our content plans,” said Pilestedt on X. “Jobs will be going up soon, but if you are a senior dev there’s always the “open application”. Enlist today with Arrowhead Game Studios.”
Previously, Arrowhead Game Studios has confirmed that its post-launch plans for Helldivers 2 will entail free content additions in the form of new enemies, biomes, and objectives, as well as free story updates.
Helldivers 2 has been quite successful, especially on PC where its concurrent player count keeps rising. The most recent report indicated that more than 200,000 players were playing Helldivers 2 concurrently on Steam earlier this week. However, the game’s launch has not been without issues.
With players reporting quite a few crash-causing bugs, as well as issues with matchmaking, Arrowhead Game Studios has been hard at work in releasing updates to fix issues. The most recent update, released yesterday, brought with it a host of bug fixes, as well as improvements to the game’s online matchmaking.
Helldivers 2 is available on PC and PS5. For more details, check out our review.
