This year, Activision is bringing back not one, but two franchises from its classic catalog- sure, Guitar Hero is making a comeback with Guitar Hero Live, but the classic skateboarding series, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, will also be returning with a fifth numbered installment.
If you were a fan of the original games, and you have been excited to see how the classic rail grinding, trick pulling gameplay will translate over to the new generation of consoles, well, this new trailer should be just the thing for you. It looks pretty interesting, although I am not sure I am sold on it entirely yet- it does look a bit rough, rough enough that I am not sure I would want to pay $60 for it.
Activision released some more news about the game with this trailer too, reiterating their commitment to release the game by the end of this year, and also announcing that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game will not have any online functionality- another instance of last generation versions of games being horribly gimped compared to the real, next generation ones.
