Hideo Kojima Has Scanned Woodkid to be in His Next Game

French musician Yoann Lemoine, better known as Woodkid, was recently scanned over at Kojima Productions, presumably to use his likeness in an upcoming project.

We’re all waiting with bated breath to find out what Hideo Kojima and his team at Kojima Productions are working on next, and while concrete details on that front are yet to arrive (at least in an official capacity) the man himself continues to cryptically drop tidbits here and there.

Recently, for instance, he revealed on Twitter that Kojima Productions has scanned French musician Yoann Lemoine – better known as Woodkid – which means his likeness is likely to appear in the studio’s next game, whatever that ends up being.

This is very much in character for Kojima, of course, who has a particular fondness for having a host of celebrities provide their likeness for his games. Death Stranding’s main cast was a star-studded one, of course, but even for side characters, it brought in the likes of Conan O’Brien, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Sam Lake, and even Geoff Keighley.

Recently, Kojima confirmed that Elle Fanning will star in his next game. Reports have suggested that the game in question is a sequel to Death Stranding

Interestingly, Kojima recently also said that if the developer’s next game succeeds in what it sets out to do, it will be “almost like a new medium”. Read more on that through here.
