Hitman 2 Officially Announced, Releasing on November 13th

This time, IO Interactive will be delivering a full game, not episodic content.

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive have officially announced Hitman 2, the follow-up to the episodic Hitman (2016). The key difference this time is that this will be a full game and not an episodic release. It’s out on November 13th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Check out the screenshots and trailer below and head on over to Steam to pre-purchase the game.

Continuing the first game’s use of sandbox locations, Agent 47 will be heading to rain forests and sunny race tracks to execute his targets. The story this time sees him looking to eliminate the Shadow Client but information regarding the assassin’s true identity and past comes to light.

Along with new modes and features, including a new Sniper Assassin mode, Hitman 2 will also feature co-op play for the first time in the series. The Silver and Gold Editions are available to pre-purchase as well. The former contains Sniper Assassin and the Executive Pack along with Expansion 1, which brings a new location, missions, sniper map, outfits and weapons.

The Gold Edition features the same content but with four days early access and Expansion 2, bringing an additional new location, weapons, missions, sniper map and outfits. Thoughts on the sequel? Let us know in the comments below.
