Dambuster Studios’ Homefront: The Revolution will be receiving its beta exclusively on Xbox One but there will be plenty more to look forward to when it releases.
According to Dambuster game director Hasit Zala, the single-player campaign will offer a meaty story as well. “Homefront: The Revolution is this team’s most ambitious project yet.
“In addition to our epic 30-plus hour single-player campaign, we expect to launch Resistance Mode with 12 Missions, packed with re-playability, and hope to release another 20 Missions within the first year. To ensure our community can always play together, all Resistance Mode Missions will be free to download.”
That’s not a bad incentive to ensure people keep playing, though it wouldn’t be too off assume some kind of monetization process somewhere. After all, Rainbow Six: Siege and Halo 5: Guardians have done this to great success.
Homefront: The Revolution is out on May 17th in North America and May 20th in Europe.
