Against all odds, Homefront: The Revolution is finally almost here- the sequel to the flawed 2011 hit shooter releases next month, and it will also explore the story of an America that is conquered and occupied. The story that the sequel explores, of a conquered nation attempting to fight back, is explored in the game’s opening cinematic- which was released today, and which you can see below.
“The core premise of Homefront – an occupation on American soil – remains unchanged,” said Hasit Zala, game director at Dambuster Studios. “But we have created a brand new fiction that offers a very different interpretation of how we got there.”
Homefront: The Revolution will launch on May 17 in North America, and three days later, on May 20, in the rest of the world. It will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Let us know if you intend to get the game, and what you think of its opening cinematic, in the comments below.
