Hood: Outlaws and Legends Trailer Puts the Spotlight on its Outpost Map

Brimming with lackeys of the State, New Barnsdale is not exactly a friendly place.

Sumo Digital and Focus Home Interactive have been ramping up the marketing for their upcoming medieval PvPvE heist game, Hood: Outlaws and Legends. After having shown off the game’s four playable classes with the Hunter, the Mystic, the Brawler, and the Ranger, they’ve moved on to speaking about the maps. After detailing the Graveyard map with the previous trailer, this new one puts the spotlight on the Outpost map, called New Barnsdale.

New Barnsdale is a small settlement that’s been carved into the middle of otherwise impassable woods, and serves as a hub for traders and travelers. With both entrances blocked by heavily defended toll bridges, and the settlement itself crawling with fortifications and lackeys of the State, New Barnsdale is brimming with danger. Unfinished wooden palisades, garrisons, and more provide multiple entry and exit points, hidden pathways, and more. Take a look below.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends launches for May 10 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can get more details on the game in our interview with its director, Andrew Willans, through here.
