Hutchinson: India is a good setting for Assassin’s Creed, “I’d really love to do the Raj”

Ubisoft’s Alex Hutchinson, who is also the creative director of Assassin’s Creed has mentioned that Internet fans want really  boring settings for Assassin’s Creed.

“The three most wanted are WWII, feudal Japan and Egypt. They’re kind of the three worst settings for an AC game,” he said to OXM.

“People on the internet suggest the most boring settings.”

He also said that they would love to do an Indian setting. Assassin’s Creed writer Cory May also expressed interest in it.

“Writer Corey May really wants to do India. I would too. I’d really love to do the Raj,” he said.

India will be a great setting as far as I am concerned because there are a lot of creatively designed architectures and a lot of history in the country.

The only downside is that there may be a backlash from the sensitive communities in India.
