We all know that Grand Theft Auto V will be released on the PC. It is just a matter of when. Historically every major Grand Theft Auto game has seen a release on the PC platform so it’s a no brainer that Rockstar will bring this generation’s biggest open world game on it.
Chris R. Silva, the Director of Marketing for Intel’s Premium Notebooks believes the same. He refers to how Microsoft did a poor job of porting Halo to PC as an example.
“I think it hurt Halo overall. At least with Grand Theft Auto I don’t think it’ll be console exclusive very long. But that’s what happens when you have a brand new launch with two companies that have lots of money trying to make sure they have content.”
He also believes that somebody paid a lot of dollars to keep the game console exclusive. “Somebody paid a lot of money to make sure that title was exclusive,” he said in an interview with PC Gamer.
GTA V is now available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and has received excellent scores across various publications, including a perfect 10/10 from us.
