Marvel’s Iron Man VR was one of the many games that got hit with the delay flu earlier in the year. The game was once supposed to soar at the end of this month, but it instead got pushed all the way to May. But hopefully, the extra time means it’ll be as polished as need be, but in the meantime the game has been rated by the ESRB, which gives us an idea of the story and gameplay loop.
As seen here, the game got Teen rating from the board, as one would expect. The story will include Tony having to battle a mysterious enemy intent on destroying his company, something that we saw bits and pieces of with a story trailer that was released last year. The rating also mentions battling waves of drones and tanks with lasers, missiles, and repulsor rays with promises of explosions and realistic gunfire.
None of that is particularly surprising, but at least we get a solid idea of what we’ll be doing as the popular superhero in his VR adventure. We’ll see how that all plays out when the game launches for the PS4 and PS VR on May 15th.
