Kingdom Hearts 3 recently went gold, and the hugely anticipated conclusion to the long-running saga is finally almost upon us. After years of waiting, we’ll finally get our hands on this much-awaited sequel, as all things fall into place to bring an end to the convoluted story. Understandably, excitement surrounding the game is sky high- maybe a bit too high for some people, since it seems the game has been leaked online, with spoilers spreading around like wildfire.
In response, Kingdom Hearts’s official Twitter account has sent out a message straight from Tetsuya Nomua, the game’s director himself. Nomura warns players to stay away from spoilers, which are being distributed on the internet (as one might expect), and states that Square Enix has been investigating the issue. Apparently, the publisher is aware about how exactly the leak happened, and Nomura has apologized to fans for the same. Additionally, he also mentions that some of the game’s most spoiler-y sections, namely the epilogue and a secret movie, were purposefully held back by Square Enix for fears of possible leaks, and are scheduled to be rolled out at later dates, so those have not been part of the recent leaks and resulting spoilers- which is at least some solace for fans who want to remain unspoiled.
In case you’re worried about spoilers, you can rest assured that GamingBolt will not be reporting on any of these, so you can read articles posted by us safely and without any such worries. Kingdom Hearts 3 launches on January 29 for the PS4 and Xbox One- take a look at its opening movie, released by Square just a few days back, through here.
