Kingdom Hearts 3 ended up doing the unexpected, and living up to more than a decade’s worth of anticipation by players. It gave them a story that resolved the plot (as much as a plot like Kingdom Hearts’ can be resolved), while also being the best playing game in the series.
It makes sense then that the game was received with overwhelming praise across the boat—we lavished effusive acclaim on it ourselves in our own review. The praise the game got has been highlighted in the newest trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3, which is an accolades trailer for it. Obviously, it also includes gameplay footage to sell you on the game.
That said, it’s clear that Kingdom Hearts 3 doesn’t really need help selling, given that it has already crossed the threshold of 5 million copies shipped worldwide. Given the word of mouth for the game, as well as, hopefully, the addition of series staples such as a Critical Mode, we can presumably imagine the game selling for a long time to come.
