As promised, Square Enix have been ramping up the hype surrounding Kingdom Hearts 3 (not that it needed ramping up) with slew of new trailers. After showcasing the game’s intro movie last week, they’ve now released another new trailer for the game, which sets up the climactic battle that the series has been building toward for over a decade.
Set to “Face My Fears” by Hikaru Utada and Skrillex, the trailer sets the tone for the dramatic events that the game is set to showcase. Scenes from the large number of Disney worlds we’ll be visiting – from Tangled and Winnie the Pooh to Toy Story and Frozen, are also shown off. Take a look below. Additionally, Square Enix have also released a bunch of screenshots for the game, which you can also view in the gallery below, which showcase plenty of combat, a variety of Disney worlds, instantly recognizable characters, and more.
Kingdom Hearts 3 launches just a little over a month from now, on January 29, for the PS4 and Xbox One- it’ll require just 35 GB of storage on your console. The game recently got leaked, and spoilers are out in the wild- be sure to keep away from them. Read director Tetsuya Nomura’s response to the leak through here.
